It is recommended that patients with pacemakers be monitored routinely once a month or once every 2 months depending on the age of the pacemaker.  This is necessary to monitor for any changes in the patients heart rhythm or pacemaker function.  Pacemaker checks can be done over the phone using an easy to use, portable transmitter.  We also do pacemaker checks in the office by appointment.  Our office hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.  We also have an after hours line for urgent telephone pacemaker checks.  Our Pacemaker Clinic is managed by an experience staff that can walk you or anyone that is helping you through the process step-by-step.  Results are monitored by our office and reviewed by the cardiologists.  If problems arise, patients can be referred to our Device clinic and/or Dr Branco for further evaluation.  Please contact us if you have any further questions or if you need to be setup for pacemaker follow-ups.
